Cloud Security Engineer, Operations SME – This Cloud Security Operations role will be focused on incorporating security operations experience into all the team’s meetings, writings and other deliverables and will work collaboratively with a team of security engineers on various projects, white papers and trusted advisor roles to advance the security initiatives of our clients. The specific skills required for this position include: Really strong Azure architecture and deployment; Really strong FISMA/FedRAMP and assessment and at least either AWS or Azure architecture and deployment; Really strong FISMA/FedRAMP documentation and preassessment and at least either AWS or Azure architecture and deployment; Really strong technical / cloud architecture – security in the cloud and security of the cloud and at least either AWS or Azure architecture and deployment; Architecture experience; AWS, Cloud computing; Proven customer facing effectiveness; Previous experience (at least 3 years) working in a Security Operations Center, or other highly operational security role in a large organization; Familiarity with SIEMS, Big Data, Correlation, Search and Forensics tools; Broad and deep knowledge of incident response activities and strategies; Deep familiarity with Cloud and Cloud Security concepts; Expertise with security testing and categorization of security findings/events; Has been involved with the automation of tools or processes; Understands the full security engineering lifecycle from physical to application to human, and from requirements to deployment; Understands DevOps concepts, tools (Containers, CI\CD, automation etc.) and emerging technologies; Has very clear communication skills; BS degree (at minimum) in any field; CISSP / GSEC certification or equivalent preferred; AWS certifications preferred; At least 6 years of security engineering experience; At least 10 years overall IT experience in a technical, hands-on capacity.
