Job Description: ? SME acts as the primary technical contact and provides advanced technical troubleshooting support and resolution for the support cases raised by Compute Engine customers. SME will lead and manage escalated and critical issues, be a technical point of contact, and drive the issues to resolution. ? SME strives to deliver support services high productivity and quality and motivates the team towards the same goals. SME will interact with the TSE team and act as a single point of contact. ? Case creation and resolution for compute engine-related issues ? Support migration of instances and containers to Google Cloud ? Provide solutions involving GCE Instances, Machine Images, Managed Instance Groups (MIG), IAM Roles, SSH, Quotas, and Autoscaling ? Apply best practices in managing instances in Google Cloud Qualifications : Experience and Technical Skills ? Experience working with any public cloud (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) services and infrastructure ? Strong knowledge of GCE protocols and concepts, including troubleshooting of Linux and Windows VMs. ? Hands on experience with any public cloud IaaS and cloud storage solutions ? Knowledge of basic web technologies and networking fundamentals ? Familiarity with Terraform and the Linux command line, web servers, and text editors. ? Experience reading or debugging code (Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, JavaScript) ? Ability to manage others and work as part of a team, managing critical tasks and priorities effectively. ? Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and present findings to management. ?
