Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with our DevOps and security teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that meets our business needs.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases
- Implement automation for the provisioning and management of cloud resources
- Implement security controls and conduct security audits and risk assessments
- Work with development, security, and operations teams to ensure best practices withing the Azure cloud space
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Azure infrastructure issues, and escalate issues as needed
- Improve monitoring infrastructure and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
- Provide customer and project support, as needed
- Collaborate and maintain IT support process documentation (policies, procedures, best practices)
- Communicate effectively with all parties internal and external
- Produce reports related to projects, KPIs, compliance adherence

Education
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Required: 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud development and management.
- Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
