We are looking for a new colleague to take part in and lead Public Cloud (AZURE) based Architecture initiatives within the Cloud, Cloud Native & Infrastructure area together with our clients. About the Role:

As our Cloud (Azure) & Infrastructure Architect, you will be accountable for leading key infrastructure transformation engagements in line with recognized industry best practices and methodologies. You will take full responsibility for the solution including architecture, design and implementation, in collaboration with the wider TCS teams. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:

1. Design and technical leadership for Cloud, Cloud Native & Infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks that support the applications and business processes of customers.
2. Create best-in-class Cloud Adoption, Cloud Native, DevOps Solutions and infrastructure solutions for customers based on business drivers and technology needs
3. Design and implement cloud strategies and roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.
4. Lead architecture and design sessions with key stakeholders
5. Lead solution development during sales cycle
6. Optimize cloud costs and resources while maintaining high performance and availability
7. Ensure solutions comply with regulatory standards and internal policies
8. Oversee the implementation and deployment of Azure solutions
9. As a key member, actively contribute to TCS’ account planning and customer satisfaction goals

Experience

We are looking for a senior architect with experience in IT service delivery, project/program management or transformation engagements. You have formal project management qualifications as well as proven abilities in:

1. Demonstrated technical leadership in Cloud Transformation, Cloud Native Solutions and Cloud engineering including AKS, DevOps transformation program, with the ability to clearly formulate end-to-end architecture, design and implementation in accordance with customer's requirements
2. Hands on experience in architecting scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud architectures aligned with business objectives and technical requirements
3. Experience in enterprise architecture principles and ability to write detailed architectural design documents
4. Experience in enterprise hybrid cloud architecture including both public and private cloud
5. Cost optimization strategies
6. Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies
7. Demonstrated customer service, communications and leadership skills
8. Good understanding of Infrastructure outsourcing and transformation process. Experience in ITIL roles, process, and report management
9. Understanding of SAFe principles and ways of working
10. Basic knowledge of Project Management methodologies
11. Architect certification such as TOGAF is preferred
12. Public cloud architectural certifications are preferred

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS) and Azure DevOps, you have a broad experience of the IT industry, markets, trends, technologies and their implications as well as extensive knowledge of outsourcing structure and processes. To succeed in the role, you should have successfully managed and completed at least a couple of complex infrastructure transformation programs. Also, experience of IT projects with teams spread globally will be an advantage in this role. You have excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through relationship management and networking.
