Company Description

A US-Swiss startup, which embarked on a mission to fully automate business finance function, is looking for top-performing and passionate Cloud Engineer (Hybrid in Zurich, CH preferred or Remote within CET).

Responsibilities

• Identify, implement, and deliver change on company cloud infrastructure and automate activities, leveraging different programming languages (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Bicep, etc.).
• Lead the design of our information technology infrastructure asset lifecycle, maintain infrastructure assets inventory, coordinate infrastructure upgrade, and support capacity estimation and performance requirements collection.
• Monitor and ensure stability of client-facing services, proactively addressing performance and reliability issues. 
• Maintain and design the existing cloud infrastructure and other critical systems and collaborate with the operational side of the team to resolve issues in a timely manner leveraging version control to ensure traceability. 
• Define security requirements, plan and oversee the resolution of any gaps, and ensure rollout in production of the necessary deliverables. Integrate security practices into cloud DevOps pipelines and automation processes.  

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a cloud engineer with a demonstrated emphasis on security (having cloud administrator role will be considered a plus). Experience with cloud data services, such as Azure (preferred) or similar (AWS, GCP).
• Proven and successful track record of designing, developing, and implementing cloud infrastructure to support LLM operations and ML applications.
• Strong Knowledge of networking and security principles and their implementation. Working knowledge of scripting / programming languages e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell, IaC.
• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent technical fields.
• Very good verbal and written English communication skills.
