The Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) is responsible to build and maintain reliable and efficient cloud infrastructure, enabling seamless operations and supporting the organization's technological advancements.
What You Will Do
- Infrastructure & System Reliability: Build and maintain the infrastructure supporting trading, sales, and corporate systems. Ensure systems are available, reliable, and scalable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Collaboration & Automation: Work closely with development teams to design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines. Integrate monitoring solutions and automate infrastructure deployment processes.
- DevOps Practices & Tools: Manage a wide range of DevOps tools and practices, supporting the optimization of DevOps processes. Maintain subject matter expertise while driving continuous improvements within the team.
- Cloud Systems Best Practices: Support best practices for cloud-based systems, including logging, monitoring, deployment, and data management.
- Reliability & Support: Maintain uptime and reliability across all environments (test to production). Support release and deployment cycles for product lines across global environments, optimizing workflows with development teams.
- Standards & Quality Guidelines: Assist in defining and enforcing DevOps and quality guidelines and standards.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree or similar qualification
- Experience deploying CI/CD pipelines in high-pressure environments and understanding continuous delivery principles (e.g., feature-switching, canary releases)
- Experience building scalable cloud environments and familiarity with AWS services, focusing on networking, resilience, performance, and security best practices
- Experienced with at least one infrastructure-as-code language
- Experience working as a System Administrator in Linux or Window Svr
- Experience administering Hypervisors i.e. VmWare, Hyper V
- Understanding and experience with Compute, Storage and Network topics
- Understanding of core security principles and their application in cloud environments and continuous delivery systems
- Knowledge of container orchestration systems
- Programming experience (any language) and working knowledge of at least one programming language
- Strong written and spoken German and English skills
