Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support and enhance cloud-based database platforms and infrastructure in a large-scale enterprise environment. The role will focus on AWS-based engineering, automation, and platform resiliency, working closely with architecture, security, and application teams to modernize and manage data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and support scalable and resilient cloud-based database infrastructure using AWS services
Automate infrastructure provisioning and maintenance using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Jenkins
Support databases such as AWS RDS, Aurora, MongoDB Atlas, and Redis
Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure platform availability
Implement security controls, patching, and compliance processes for cloud resources
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure platform alignment
Drive continuous improvement and modernization of database services and automation frameworks
Required Skills:
7–10+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering
Strong experience with AWS and services like RDS, Aurora, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch, Lambda
Proficiency in automation tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins
Strong scripting skills in Python or Shell
Experience with MongoDB Atlas, Redis, and relational databases
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure security
