As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation, management, and support of cloud infrastructure and services. You will work closely with senior cloud engineers and administrators to ensure the smooth operation of cloud-based systems. Responsibilities:
Able to articulate the value of Cloud Service Offering
Support the deployment of cloud-based solutions, including virtual servers, storage, and networking components.
Knowledge on Cloud Services that focus on Infrastructure Core Services with good knowledge in Cloud architecture.
Good understanding of Cloud Adoption Framework, Well Architeure Framework
Performing assessments of existing IT environments and providing Migration Assessment Reports.
Knowledge on Cloud Migration Plans and Application Dependency Mapping Reports.
Designing Cloud Landing Zones to ensure scalable and secure cloud environments.
Creating As-Built Documents and Migration Execution Plans.
Managed Services:
Monitor the health and performance of cloud infrastructure, responding to alerts and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Provide basic technical support to end-users utilizing cloud services, addressing issues related to access, permissions, and functionality.
Developing and managing Cloud Management Portals.
Creating and enforcing Cloud Security and Compliance Policies.
Establishing Cloud Governance Frameworks and conducting regular governance reviews.
Infrastructure as Code ( Desirable)
Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure using IaC tools and practices.
Develop templates and scripts for automating the deployment of Azure resources.
Work with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
Job Requirements
Basic scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
Understanding of Core Services like Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, Security and Compliance, HA and DR.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

AWS Cloud Practitioner
AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
AWS Solution Architect Associate
