What are you going to do?
Enabling our customers’ organizations to continue to grow! The ‘formal description’ is that as a cloud engineer, you’ll be responsible for a stable infrastructure on which we run our customer environments. But we’re not that formal. So, how would we describe what we do? The SaaS Platform team works with cutting-edge technology, and that’s pretty cool. We host over 7000 customer environments that are updated twice a week and require 24/7 uptime. That’s why we’re constantly challenging ourselves to see if we can go faster or make improvements.
Integrating operational work with engineering tasks and being on call 24/7 requires careful coordination. Imagine a dynamic workplace where we do our engineering work by sprinting through tasks in a Scrum fashion while operational tasks are managed with Kanban’s flexibility. Night shifts ensure round-the-clock support for critical tasks. Clear communication and mutual respect between teams are vital to the success of this hybrid approach.

We use these technologies on Windows and Linux servers, MS SQL databases, firewalls and VPN servers. But, it’s not about what we currently use. It’s about a curious mind and an abstract way of thinking
