Your job at Rijk ZwaanAs a Cloud Engineer, you are responsible for a stable, scalable and secure cloud platform. At Rijk Zwaan, we use Microsoft Azure. This platform is widely used for many different internal customers, such as R&D, Production & Logistics, Software Solutions and Data Solutions. You will be technically involved with Azure alongside consultancy projects and projects. This includes migrations to get the most out of the cloud within our company's objectives. Innovation is key, with the aim of improving, renewing and making maximum use of the current cloud platform service. So with regularity, it is really puzzling and pioneering in projects. These can be projects initiated by a department itself, but also based on business needs. You are also involved in:

• Daily monitoring & support of our services within Microsoft Azure
• Further development and related advice on our cloud architecture
• Adoption and integration of the public cloud (Azure) platform within daily management
• Communicating cloud concepts to other departments and teams
  
  

Where will you be working?Rijk Zwaan is an international family business with a people-oriented corporate culture. Rijk Zwaan is at the beginning of the food chain. We develop fruit and vegetable varieties and sell their seeds to growers and other chain partners all over the world. In doing so, we make an important contribution to the world food supply. As a Cloud Engineer, you will join the infra team of the IT Services department. The team employs 10 people who, among other things, work on a stable, scalable and secure cloud platform used by colleagues in more than 30 countriesAddy, Cloud Engineer IT Services:Being a Cloud Engineer at Rijk Zwaan is more than just being technical with the Azure platform. It is also advising, coordinating, directing and collaborating with internal and external parties. I find it a challenging and versatile job from which I get a lot of satisfaction.

What you bring:You are pragmatic, constantly looking for improvements and enjoy working together. You have strong organisational and coordinating skills, allowing you to work in an excellent project & planned manner. In addition, you take ownership and can direct contacts with external suppliers. Furthermore, we can find the following on your CV:

• Demonstrable bachelor working and thinking level
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge and experience with DevOps, PowerShell, BICEP, git, pipelines
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
