Job Description

As a key member of the cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS infrastructure for various customers. You will ensure the stability, security, and performance of cloud environments while implementing best practices for scalability, cost optimization, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Design and deploy AWS core services such as VPC, Subnets, NAT Gateways, and Security Groups.
• Compute & Database Administration: Provision and maintain EC2 instances and RDS databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Security & Compliance: Implement IAM policies, KMS, WAF, and other security best practices to safeguard cloud resources.
• Server Uptime & Web Hosting: Ensure web server uptime, configure and optimize LAMP stack on EC2 instances.
• Automation & Scripting: Write automation scripts in Shell or Python to streamline operations.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage infrastructure deployment using CloudFormation and optionally Terraform.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement AWS-native backup and restore solutions.
• Scaling & Optimization: Utilize Auto Scaling to ensure system resilience and right-size AWS resources based on pricing models.
• Networking & Troubleshooting: Deep understanding of AWS networking, including troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues.
• Monitoring & Observability: Set up monitoring with CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus for proactive issue resolution.
• Automation & DevOps: Leverage AWS Lambda for automation tasks.
• Architecture & Documentation: Prepare detailed architecture diagrams and documentation for cloud environments.
• AWS Management Services: Work with AWS Organizations, Config, and Systems Manager for governance and compliance.
