The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting cloud-based systems, with a focus on AWS and DevOps principles, to ensure that the organization's cloud infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable. This role will work as part of a distributed team in various locations.

Key responsibilities:

1. Implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud-based systems.
2. Ensuring that cloud-based systems are secure, reliable and scalable.
3. Implementing cloud-based systems and services according to design specifications provided by the Cloud Architect. Work collaboratively with Architecture and other teams to participate in the definition of the Accor technical standards.
4. Implementing solutions to automate deployments of system components.
5. Managing and monitoring cloud-based systems and services.
6. Participating in incident management and maintenance of incident reports.
7. Collaborating with other teams and departments to identify and resolve cloud-related problems and optimize cloud performance.
8. Work with the FinOps team to implement the cost optimization strategy.
9. Continuously researching and staying up-to-date on new technologies and best practices in cloud computing.
10. Managing and maintaining cloud-related documentation.
11. Participating in the design, development and delivery of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Skills:

1. Strong hands-on experience with AWS and DevOps principles.
2. Strong experience in cloud infrastructure management and troubleshooting.
3. Strong understanding of cloud security and data management best practices.
4. Experience with CI/CD pipeline and tooling like Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab-CI etc.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
7. Familiarity with ITIL framework and processes.
8. Flexibility and adaptability to work as part of a distributed team with remote and on-site work.
9. Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and related tools
10. Familiarity with Containers technologies (ECS, Fargate, K8S are nice to have skills)
11. Industry certifications in AWS, Linux and related Cloud technologies are a plus.
