Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments, and work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application Development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using AWS or Azure services.
  • Migrate on-premises applications and systems to the cloud.
  • Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using IaC tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native solutions.
  • Implement security best practices for cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and monitoring.
  • Maintain documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide support for incident resolution and root cause analysis related to cloud services.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies, specifically AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC (AWS) or VMs, Azure Functions, AKS, VNets (Azure).
  • Strong understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Prometheus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are highly preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost management and budgeting tools.
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud strategies.
  • Experience with compliance and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA).
