Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

Salary Range: $73 - $81 an hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Engineer with a strong foundation in cloud computing and systems engineering to help drive the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with AWS technologies, a solid understanding of modern development tools and methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-impact solutions in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications.
- Assist in the migration and transformation of legacy applications and workloads to cloud-native platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues within cloud environments.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of infrastructure using IaC and DevOps best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including security, networking, and data engineering to ensure cloud solutions align with organizational goals.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor during customer implementations and internal stakeholder engagements.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting on applications and infrastructure.
- 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, CI/CD, Git).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
- Proven experience migrating or transforming legacy systems to cloud platforms.
- Practical experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) from a development and operations standpoint.
- Background in technology/software sales, pre-sales engineering, or consulting roles.
- Experience with customer-facing implementation and cloud adoption projects.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
