Systems Operations Engineer

A fast-growing company in the consumer products manufacturing space is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to ensure the efficiency, security, and scalability of IT systems and cloud infrastructure. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations, driving process improvements, and supporting business growth through optimized system design, deployment, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure IT and cloud production environments aligned with business needs.
• Oversee system deployment, change management, and compliance to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage daily system operations, troubleshoot production issues, and enhance security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and improve business processes.
• Optimize and automate operational workflows to enhance efficiency and standardization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, and system operations.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java and Python, with experience in system maintenance.
• Experience with cloud security best practices, encryption, and access control.
• AWS Architect certification is a plus.
