About The Role

• Our client is hiring an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to architect and maintain scalable, high-performance, and secure AWS-based cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a cloud automation expert skilled in CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), container orchestration, and real-time event-driven systems.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
• Expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, SNS, SQS, EventBridge)
• Proficient with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Hands-on with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ECS, EKS)
• Strong scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions)
• Security-first mindset: IAM, KMS, encryption, networking
  
  

Nice To Have

• AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, Security Specialty)
• Experience in Java application deployments
• Financial services or trading platform experience
• Familiarity with FinOps and cost optimization on AWS
  
  

Education

• B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, BCA, MCA, or MBA in a relevant technical field
  
  

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Design highly available AWS infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform/CDK, and automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CodePipeline).
  
  

Containerization & Orchestration

• Manage containerized workloads on ECS, EKS, and Fargate; optimize clusters and enable microservices load balancing.
  
  

Event-Driven & Real-Time Systems

• Build serverless/event-driven architectures with Lambda, EventBridge, SQS/SNS; develop real-time data pipelines using Kinesis and DynamoDB Streams.
  
  

Security & Networking

• Enforce IAM, encryption, and least-privilege; manage VPCs, WAF, Shield, and secure cloud networking.
  
  

Monitoring & Resilience

• Implement monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch), logging (CloudTrail, OpenSearch), and DR strategies using AWS Backup.
  
  

Collaboration & Optimization

• Work with architects/SREs to improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency through automation and reviews.
