About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud & DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in

Microsoft Azure, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will

be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and optimizing cloud and DevOps

pipelines to support highly scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure and DevOps
  
  

pipelines.

• Set up and manage Azure DevOps workflows (CI/CD pipelines, build and release
  
  

management).

• Administer and optimize Linux environments and ensure high availability and
• performance.
• Manage Azure SQL Databases including deployment, backup, restore, security, and monitoring.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Monitor and maintain cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Manage identity and access control using Azure Active Directory and RBAC
• policies.
• Implement containerization using Docker and manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS preferred).
• Perform environment provisioning, automation, and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Participate in cloud security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, architects) to align DevOps practices with application development.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation of processes, systems, and architectures.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications.

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Cloud and DevOps roles.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services (compute, storage, networking,
  
  

security).

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services (pipelines, repos, artifacts,
  
  

releases).

• Proficient in Linux Administration (Ubuntu, RedHat, or CentOS).
• Experience with Azure SQL and general database management skills.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Working knowledge of Docker, and basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts (preferably AKS).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Solid grasp of networking concepts (VNETs, NSGs, VPNs, Load Balancers).
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and cost optimization strategies.
• Good understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies in Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.
  
  

Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS / GCP).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes operations and management.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or integrating GitHub with Azure DevOps.
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Knowledge of Azure Policy and Governance frameworks.
• Understanding of Zero Trust Security Models and Cloud Native Architecture.
