Position Overview

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer that has well-versed with legacy and Kubernetes experience in cloud deployments with a focus on Azure and AWS. The Principal Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of cloud architecture or DevOps experience, with an emphasis on the AWS and Azure suite of tools.
• Strong experience of Kubernetes, ECS, EKS/AKS and similar container orchestration technologies.
• Well-versed with Kubernetes Integrations, Migrations and Deployments.
• Well-versed with building Docker images across one or more stacks (Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, etc.)
• Hands on experience with Cloud Automation Tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, and other similar technologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus and DataDog.
• The ideal candidate will have a background in Software Development, but transitioned into a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated testing, deployment and monitoring the applications and infrastructure.
• Architect and maintain scalable, secure and highly available hybrid cloud infrastructure utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Develop and maintain provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and other similar technologies.
• Collaborate with development, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices to support operations.
• Implement and support a hybrid cloud environment in Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or on-premise.
• Ultimately responsible for application reliability, maintenance, and version upgrades.
• Implement system enhancements (software) and automation opportunities to improve performance and reliability of the solution.
• Other duties and project as required.
