Role: Cloud DevOps Admin / Architect

Location: Washington, DC, Hybrid

Duration: 12 months

Note: For USC with DoD clearance only.

One of our federal end-client is looking for Cloud DevOps Engineer / Architect candidates with DoD clearance in Washington, DC metro area.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design new functionality
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (admin / dev) is must.
• Develop new and maintain existing CI/CD processes
• Take part in code-reviews, code scanning, and other standard development practices
• Automate and simplify all aspects of software delivery
• Provide guidance on new technologies to influence the direction of automation
  
  

Essential skills:

• Linux and scripting (Python or Shell)
• GitLab administration (or GitHub, Bitbucket)
• CI/CD process understanding and automation experience
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code - such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or AWS CDK
• AWS experience - we are heavily into EC2, ECS, S3, Lambdas, etc.
• Docker/containers
• Good written and oral communication skills
