About this opportunity:

Ericsson Orchestrator (EO) is a comprehensive suite of modules which support the orchestration of resources and services in virtualized and hybrid networks.

Ericsson Orchestrator Lifecycle Manager (EO LM) is the latest solution in EO's line-up, with a clear goal to provide a cloud orchestration solution which would manage CNF (Container Network Function) based networks, can be deployed into Kubernetes and lifecycle management is based on GitOps solutions to avoid manual intervention from the operator.

EO LM utilizes the latest solutions to create the orchestrator of the next generation networks with the best end user experience.

What you will do:

• Analyze detailed requirements coming from Solution Drivers
• Design, build and test cloud native software solutions
• Be involved in technical studies and prototype development
• Cooperate closely with teams on various sites all over the world
  
  

The technical skills you bring:

• Strong knowledge of Cloud Architecture, design principles and best practices
• Solid understanding of technologies like REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Helmfile, Service Mesh
• General expertise in security domain e.g. safeguarding of accounts from unauthorized access, protection of cloud-based data assets, and managing security posture of the product (compliance), TLS (microservice architecture)
• Solid knowledge of Linux standard command line and programs
• Good command of written and spoken English
• MSc or BSc degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field

• Precision, persistence, reliability and stress tolerance

• As a nice to have, to have openness on working in multi-site development
  
  

It is an advantage if you have:

• Development experience in Go
• Experience with developing in open-source communities
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices
• Experience with DevOps
• Experience in metrics and logs aggregation and analysis
• Understanding of Git and CI/CD concept
• Knowledge of IP networking
• Database technologies (Postgres, REDIS, etc.)
