Summary

Overview * Hybrid Remote Opportunity - Candidates MUST BE geographically located in Virginia or North Carolina. While the person in the role will predominantly work remotely, there may be a need for an in-person presence for occasional meetings.* As a Cloud Delivery Manager for ePlus Cloud Managed Services (ECMS), you will have experience and a passion for delivering next-generation public cloud managed services for our customers. This role will carry two major focuses. * First, lead and organize the onboarding of customer organizations to our cutting-edge service. This will involve leading our customers through a set of decision-making processes, documenting the results and decisions. This ensures our engineers have the information needed to deploy our extensive internal product lines and begin operational work. * Second, be responsible for working with our larger customer organizations to manage multiple workstreams as they use public cloud to accelerate their businesses. This frequently will involve multiple customer stakeholders, technologies, and internal engineers. Ideal candidates should have multiple years of experience overseeing the delivery of complex, globally diverse services into the public cloud with a strong project management background. YOUR IMPACT The essential functions of this position include: * Defining, creation, and execution of operational processes that drive innovation and efficiency of the delivery of cloud managed services * Work closely with cloud engineering teams, ensuring they have needed information and can prioritize as needed * Define and Measure KPIs as it relates to service delivery and customer satisfaction * Leverage Microsoft's Azure DevOps or similar work tracking tools to manage projects using agile processes * Help manage an active Kanban board covering all "in-flight" work across the team * Participate regularly as a duty manager in an on-call rotation * Occasionally, participate in after-hours work, both planned and unplanned * Run complex projects/programs from design and instantiation to execution * Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment * Work with ECMS leadership to define resource requirements and determine schedules for implementation * Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning * Plan and schedule project deliverables and goals * Manage and maintain documentation, both for specific projects and customer organizations in general * Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships * Identify business development and opportunities as they relate to customer organizations * Achieve productivity improvements, ensuring information systems and review structures are effectively utilized * Provide expert problem management support for difficult customer issues, including root cause analysis and a plan of corrective action * Lead and manage quarterly business reviews (QBRs) * Host regular face-to-face and virtual customer meetings to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction: * This will involve occasional travel for short durations * Structured monthly technical syncs * Weekly customer "standup" meetings to review active work QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Technology or related field * PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent * Minimum 10 years of project management or IT Management experience * Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes * Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or other best practices certification is a plus * Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills * Collaborative, with the ability to influence team members, development teams, and other business groups, often without direct management authority. * Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders' expectations and effectively mitigating dissatisfied stakeholders. POSITION SPECIFICS The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $105,000 and $145,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
