🚀We are looking for DevOps Database Engineer to be part of our dynamic team at KLANIK in Abu Dhabi !!!

As a DevOps Database Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting transactional databases and data analytics solutions. You'll collaborate closely with the engineering team to communicate technical needs and contribute to the design, planning, management, and troubleshooting of cloud-based database and analytics services.

Troubleshoot database issues in microservices environments, advise engineering teams on deployment and optimization, analyze cloud data setups for performance, and share best practices through documentation and presentations. Provide off-hours support for critical incidents and lead root cause analysis when needed.

Technical Experience

• Experience writing software in Java, C++, Python, Go, and/or JavaScript.
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle
• Experience with Terraform
• 5 years’ experience working with database services such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Kafka, Spark, HD Insights, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, CloudSQL, Datastore, Firestore, or Cloud Spanner.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5 years of hands-on experience managing and administering database or data analytics solutions.
• Proficient in using Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Over 5 years of experience working with various database technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Kafka, Spark, HD Insights, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, CloudSQL, Datastore, Firestore, and Cloud Spanner.
• Skilled in building and managing ELT/ETL pipelines for data processing and transformation.
