Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Cloud Database Administrator.

Requirements

• Proven leadership skills, demonstrated ability to mentor, influence and partner with application architects, engineering, and product teams to deliver scalable robust data solutions
• Understanding enterprise data architecture concepts, master data management, data modeling and design techniques
• Ability to collaborate within enterprise and cross functional Business Units to represent your team
• Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
• Proven success in composing and executing on long term data strategies
• Knowledge in various relational and non-relational database technologies
• Familiarity with implementing and supporting databases in an AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment
• Knowledge of Cloud Databases especially AWS Managed Databases such as DynamoDB, Oracle RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL
• Experience with Cloud Database management and configurations in the areas of Cloud DB Performance, Cost Optimization, Multiregional, Scalability, Replication, Utilization, Security, Accounts Optimization
• Proficiency at understanding enterprise data architecture concepts, master data management, data modeling and design techniques
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
