Job Description

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Administer the hardware environment by managing servers, block and file storage arrays, and tape libraries comprehensively.
  • Manage both virtual (VMware, Proxmox) and physical environments, ensuring their optimization for performance and stability.
  • Develop, supervise, and maintain data backup policies using Networker and Veeam tools.
  • Design, implement, and maintain solutions within the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure automation tools, with Terraform being particularly beneficial.
  • Manage digital certificates, ideally with knowledge of Vault.
  • Conduct proactive system monitoring and respond to incidents effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with other IT teams to ensure the continuity of system operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in physical infrastructure administration (compute & storage).
  • Experience in managing data backup using Networker and Veeam.
  • Good knowledge of virtualization software VMware and Proxmox.
  • Practical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with F5 or similar (configuration and maintenance) is welcome.
  • Ability to work with Terraform, Vault, and other HashiCorp tools is welcome.
  • Skills in managing certificates.
  • Required category B driving license (occasional visits to the Data Center).
  • Good work organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication skills and teamwork ability.
  • Willingness to make occasional visits to the office in Kraków (on average, once a month).
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
