As a Product Director in Engineer's Platform & Integrated Experience (EPiX) team, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. Job responsibilities * Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets * Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth * Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives * Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives * Leverages expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to provide seamless integration and leverage AWS services to enhance the developer experience * Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation * Focuses on creating an exceptional developer experience by understanding the needs and pain points of developers. Continuously improve the platform's usability, documentation, and support resources * Fosters a developer community and engage with developers to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive adoption * Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the platform * Uses data and analytics to gain insights into user behavior, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the platform's performance and user satisfaction * Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including User Experience (UX), Architecture & Engineering, to gather requirements, understand customer needs, and ensure successful execution of the platform Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications * Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics * Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management * Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions * Proven background in software development, preferably in DevOps practices and methodologies * Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and the ability to leverage cloud services to enhance product capabilities * Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) concepts and tools * Experience working in an Agile development environment * Technical acumen and the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly product features * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization * Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize features based on customer needs and business goals Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Recognized thought leader within a related field * Advanced knowledge and experience with specific DevOps tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline * Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
