In This Role You’ll Make An Impact By

• Ensure the successful design, planning, execution, completion, and reporting of research projects – in China and Asia regions and across the Novonesis organization - while adhering to regulatory requirements and company SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) and company objectives.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills to oversee and steer the various phases of the research projects within defined timelines and budget constraints.
• Coordinate inputs from relevant cross-functional stakeholders in the ideation and scoping phases of clinical research projects, to meet the commercial objectives, timelines and budget constraints of the project, and develop the study synopsis with the cross-functional project team.
• Steer the research projects through the planning phase, including vendor vetting and selection, site/investigator identification and selection, contract/agreement negotiation, IVP/study product sample management and logistics, participant recruitment strategies, preparation, appropriate storage and maintenance of essential study documents.
  
  

Potentially Relevant Experience

• PhD/MSc in relevant life science
• 5 years post-qualification experience in clinical research, preferably within the biotechnology or nutrition industry, with a broad end-to-end track record of delivering clinical and RWE studies utilizing a range of methodologies
• Some experience of real-world evidence methodologies is desired, with curiosity and drive to seek and discover new approaches using own initiative, even in the face of uncertainty
• Sound understanding of clinical trials methodologies, regulations and best practice guidelines (including ICH GCP), with pragmatic clinical appraisal skills
• Fluency/high professional proficiency in English and Mandarin languages
• Expected travel days per year is up to 20.
