Summary

CLINICAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR II University of Alabama at Birmingham The Department of Neurology seeks to hire a Clinical Program Director II position. The position serves as the division administrator for the Division of Epilepsy and is responsible for the division's administrative, financial, and operational management/oversight. Duties include, but are not limited to, financial transactions, review, and reconciliation, Epilepsy Clinic operations (template modifications, closures, etc.), and administrative support for Epilepsy faculty and staff. Key Roles & Responsibilities * Directs the operations of a programmatic function. * Operates with a high degree of independence. * Responsible for program development, content, and administration. * Establishes program objectives, manages programmatic fiscal activities, supervises staff engaged in carrying out program activities, and may require grant writing and/or other abilities to secure program funding. * Prepares various reports for the program. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Characteristics * Financial experience and clinical or administrative experience in an academic medical setting, * A business, finance, or administration degree is preferred. Salary Range: $60,835 - $98,855 Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
