Role:
BackgroundConnect, a business-to-business background screening firm, is seeking a driven and adaptable Client Success & Growth Assistant with room for advancement. This role is ideal for someone who is internally motivated, organized, coachable, and eager to grow. You'll support both client service and growth initiatives while learning valuable skills in sales, marketing, and operations.
You will primarily be responsible for providing customer support and identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential clients to expand our client base. This role involves strategic outreach, follow-up communications, tracking key sales metrics, and supporting operational and marketing initiatives. The Client Success and Growth Assistant will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to building strong relationships with prospective and current clients.
Responsibilities:
Operational & Administrative Support
Sales & Client Engagement Support
Marketing & Outreach
Prospecting & Lead Nurturing
· Send messages each week to prospective clients using approved templates.
· Track all outreach and responses in a weekly report to management.
· Implement a 3 Touch System for follow-ups.
· Tailor follow-up messaging by client type (e.g., former clients, industry-specific).
Key Metrics / How Success Is Measured:
Skills:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities
· Comfort learning and following structured outreach systems
· Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
Work Arrangement:
This is a hybrid role based in Houston, combining in-office and remote work.
