Position Overview
Your focus will be retaining our current clients and onboarding new clients through providing professional, courteous service to our clients, business partners, and HUB colleagues.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties of the office, including but not limited to answering and directing phone calls, coordinating and scheduling appointments, maintaining compliance files, and ordering office supplies
- Support team in opening new accounts and preparing and processing other client account forms
- Run reports and provide status updates on new account forms, confirming account transition, creating CRM profiles, etc.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients by assisting them and answering account questions; facilitate the transfer of funds and securities, complete trades in client accounts, and process checks, wires and ACH’s in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update client data, input updated values into appropriate systems
- Review and take appropriate action on client account alerts
- Coordinate and direct client activities with other team members
- Actively engage in available training and education programs – including firm strategic priorities, professional development and staying current on policies, procedures and new platforms and attend training calls
- Review processes and make suggestions to improve the client experience
- Assist with office wide projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills And Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or job-related experience
- Knowledge of financial services products, including but not limited to equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts
- 1+ years of financial services experience with a solid knowledge of industry rules and regulations (wealth management experience preferred)
- Proven ability to professionally answer & direct phone calls and effectively communicate with prospective and existing clients as well as, vendors and HUB colleagues
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM (Salesforce, Redtail, etc.)
- Detail orientated with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Goal oriented, self-motivated and results driven
- Demonstrates ability and success with problem solving; able to resolve issues without direct supervision
- Positive attitude toward client relations to provide exceptional, proactive client service
- Ability to interact with people across all levels of the business
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma / GED required; College degree strongly preferred
- Must be willing to be in-office in Pasadena, CA

- The expected hourly rate for this position is $26.44 to $31.25 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
