Summary

Push to Walk is a growing nonprofit organization located in Montvale, NJ. We provide specialized exercise programs on-site in our gym to assist people with paralysis and mobility challenges. Our clients are people with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s Disease and various other neurological conditions. We pride ourselves on our unique program and provide the highest quality service possible. 


Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing several important functions. The ideal candidate will be personable, have strong communication and computer skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client service which are all essential for success in this role.


Client Interface

You will be the point person for our gym and will be required to explain our programs and services. You will manage new client inquiries and current clients’ scheduling needs utilizing DaySmart Appointments program (formerly Appointments Plus) via phone calls and emails. You will collect all necessary documentation for a new client and client evaluation. You will be responsible for managing Scholarship Applications, scheduling tours of the gym, and maintaining spreadsheets and databases.


General Office Support

You will handle incoming and outgoing mail, answering phones, filing, scanning, ordering office supplies and coordinating activities with the Bookkeeper as needed. You will manage legal and insurance inquiries. You may be assigned other administrative duties as needed.


Event Support

You will assist with special events as needed: fundraisers, client/program events, etc.


Required skills: Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills, including Microsoft TEAMS, Word, Excel, etc. Be a great “front desk” person in greeting people and making them feel welcome. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
