The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) will be responsible for driving business success in Asia for our Legal Contents propositions with primary focus in China market. He/She will focus on client retention through close relationship management, training and client usage analysis. He/She will also be expected to identify and refer new sales by identifying potential up-sell opportunities on existing or new accounts, conducting face to face meetings, providing product and service demonstrations, negotiating and closing contracts.
About The Role
- Manage renewal sales opportunity and activity pipelines to ensure timely client outreach efforts and renewals to meet quarterly and annual retention sales and lead referral targets
- Build an excellent working relationship with wider CRM & Sales, Trainers, Operations, Order Management, Credit Control, Finance, Marketing and Proposition teams to fully understand products and value proposition and drive whole team approach to customer satisfaction and positive customer buyer journey
- Create strong, trusted relationships with both internal and external Thomson Reuters clients within Asia region via continuous onboarding, trainings or related engagements
- Host regional and segment specific webinar series for end-users to ensure customers are provided with additional education to fully optimize usage of our solution offerings
- Deal with client queries and issues, and redirect as appropriate regarding billing, product related questions about how a particular product works, what type of support is available, and other solution related enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Demonstrate control over existing customer base, their usage patterns, challenges, cancellation threats etc by utilizing existing operating procedures to develop effective tracking and reporting on client retentions and customer satisfaction
- Provide timely, accurate and informative reports to senior management
About You
- At least 5 years of experience in managing client relationships, accounts and negotiations, particularly in China market
- Proficiency in Business Mandarin is essential as this role focuses primarily on China market
- Strong business acumen with customer-oriented mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and technical aptitude
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Experience analyzing data, trends and client information to identify product or service growth
- Tech-savvy, proficient in Salesforce & Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal skill with ability to build authentic and long-term business relationships and deal effectively with relational challenges as they come up
- Flexible and able to adapt to changes quickly
