Summary

POSITION PURPOSE


Reporting to the VP of Logistics and Client Relations, the Client Relations Representative provides effective customer service by establishing a working relationship with customers through communication via email or telephone or in person with customers or company employees.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

·      Assists in maintaining and monitoring electronic data for established customers.

·      Monitors inventory and expedites delivery per customer requests.

·      Operates CRM, word processing and spreadsheet applications.

·      Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer issues.

·      Maintains detailed files for documentation.

·      Creates proposals, letters, quotes and miscellaneous correspondence when needed.

·      Answers sales calls and provides information as needed.

·      Handles the receipt and processing of customer purchase orders.

·      Processes change orders and RMA’s.


RELATIONSHIPS |

The Client Relations Representative is required to develop and maintain constructive relationships with multiple stakeholders.

 

Internal

·        Regional Sales Managers

·        Logistics Representatives

·        Shipping and Receiving Supervisors (Operation locations)

 External

·      GMA Customers

SKILLS AND SELECTION CRITERIA | RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

·      1 year of Customer Service experience.

·      High School diploma/GED required (Associate degree in business related field preferred).

·      Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times.

·      Excellent verbal and communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS |

·      Environment: Office environment.

·      Physical: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·      Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents and to operate equipment.

·      Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
