We are active in several thriving markets and offer exceptional services in architecture, planning, landscape design, experiential graphics and branding, lab and manufacturing planning, interior design, procurement, strategy, and change management.


The Client Relations and Proposal Manager leads Ci’s efforts to expand the firm’s growth and increase brand awareness in Science & Technology, Mission Critical, and Industrial Manufacturing. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, this individual leads the proposal team and oversees strategic efforts to position the firm competitively in the marketplace.


Responsibilities, Requirements and Qualifications:


Client Relations

  • Support leadership in fostering and growing existing relationships
  • Must be a strategic thinker with strong Science & Technology (S&T) relationships.
  • Develop strategies for new business and new opportunities
  • Work with Firm Principals to develop long and short-term business development goals, targets and priorities.
  • Maintain database to track company and contact information, opportunities, etc.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends
  • Identify and suggest industry and/or community events, conferences and speaking engagements: attend and represent Ci as needed. This includes regional and national events across multiple offices.
  • Prepare impactful materials such as pitches and presentations for prospective client meetings and interviews


Proposal Management

  • Oversee the proposal process to ensure successful delivery of custom proposals and materials for new opportunities
  • Work with Principals to create a proposal plan and assemble consultant team that meet RFP requirements; identify target dates for information gathering writing, review, and approval
  • Oversee the proposal team and coordinate with corporate marketing for base materials for RFP/RFQ responses
  • Ensure quality and compliance of final proposal documents by reviewing materials for spelling, grammar, style, and quality
  • Review responses to qualifications and ensure schedules are met for proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Meet with senior leadership on proposals and proposal status
