Job Description
Equipment and Supplies Responsibilities:
Check equipment both office and medical and report when malfunctioning to BioMed, IT, etc…
Monitor and regularly replenish inventory of administrative supplies ( i.e. stationary )
Telephone Responsibilities
Answer telephone in a timely and professional manner/Accurately record and transmit messages
Locate doctors and nurses when needed/Respond to patient call bell
Medical Record Responsibilities
Assemble new charts, maintain patient charts in standard order and place laboratory and X-ray reports on charts/Ensure that charts are not removed from unit without proper authorization
Receptionist / EPIC Responsibilities
Accept admission, process transfers and deceased patients and print necessary labels and paperwork from EPIC/Work in collaboration with nurses, physicians and ancillary services to ensure optimal care of patients.
Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and
Six (6) months of full-time satisfactory clerical experience and/or experience interacting with the public, such as processing sales; taking, processing, and delivering orders; obtaining and dispensing information; listening to and resolving customers concerns, problems, and complaints; and/or performing related customer service activities.
