We’re looking for an experienced Claims Manager to lead a high-performing team in their Toronto office. This is a leadership opportunity focused on complex, commercial claims across multiple specialty lines, including Cyber, D&O and E&O. Responsibilities

• Manage the team of claims examiners and 1 support staff, and ensure the smooth claims procedure 
• Manage the performance of the team by conducting employee reviews 
• Handle any performance issues that need to be addressed within the team 
• Support the onboarding of new employees and delegate the tasks within the team
• Support the business development with brokers and promote the interactions with brokers within the claims team 
• Help strengthen the international relationships with other regional offices and departments such as Underwriting and Actuarial teams. 

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Multi-line Claims Experience 
• 3 or more years of management/ leadership experience 
• Understanding of speciality product lines such as E&O, D&O, and Cyber
