American Modern Insurance Group is recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for our inbound Claims contact center. This position is hybrid, candidate must live in the Amelia, OH area.

Location: Hybrid (40-50% in-office in Amelia, OH, and 50-60% remote)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am - 7pm EST (overtime required during catastrophes)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our inbound Claims contact center team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will answer high-volume inbound calls, capturing detailed information for newly reported claims, answering questions on claims previously reported, and addressing inquiries related to settlement, status, and pending documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Answer high-volume inbound calls in a fast-paced environment
  • Capture detailed information for newly reported claims and answer questions on claims previously reported
  • Respond to inquiries related to settlement, status, and pending documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Learn and adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and procedures
  • Efficiently multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • Meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and problem-solving
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in an insurance or call center environment
