Title: Civil Project Manager (Transportation) Location: Richmond, VA Salary: $130,000-$145,000 (based on experience) The successful candidate will play a key role in managing transportation projects and leading a design team at a full-service engineering firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transportation engineering and project management. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate with clients and manage project communications * Lead and manage a design team, ensuring effective collaboration with other design disciplines * Perform Quality Control reviews to ensure high standards of work * Prepare project scope and fee proposals * Adhere to project budgets and schedules * Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and presentations * Prepare construction plans for roadways, sidewalks, storm drainage systems, etc. * Manage various design and support tasks, including roadway, trail, and sidewalk design; storm drainage design; stormwater management; erosion and sediment control plans; transportation management plans; signing and pavement marking plans; traffic signal plans; quantity and cost estimating; utility adjustment plans and coordination Minimum Qualifications: * BS Civil Engineering or similar discipline * Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) * 8-10 years of experience in transportation engineering * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and lead a design team * Proficiency with relevant design software (e.g., MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer) * Strong written and oral communication skills Benefits: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for professional growth and development * A supportive and collaborative work environment #LI-HS1
