Role Description
We are seeking a Civil Estimator / Project Manager to join our team in a full-time, in-office role based in Houston, TX.
This position combines estimating and project management responsibilities. You will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate cost estimates for concrete and site utility projects, and managing those projects from pre-construction through final completion. You’ll play a key role in driving project success while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Responsibilities
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
• Oversee day-to-day project activities from pre-construction through completion
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and change orders
• Track and report on project performance, ensuring deadlines and financial targets are met
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standards
• Proactively identify and manage project risks

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil estimating and/or project management, ideally with a focus on concrete and utility work
• Solid understanding of cost estimating, construction budgeting, scheduling, and field operations
• Ability to interpret civil engineering drawings and construction documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in estimation and project management tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required
