Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including heavy-highway construction. This role is key to ensuring projects are financially viable and align with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing estimates for civil construction projects.
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimates.
• Participate in bid preparation and negotiation with clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide input and expertise during the project planning and design phases.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator in the civil construction field, specifically in heavy-highway projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
