Position Overview:

We’re looking for a driven and self-starting Heavy Civil Estimator with 2–4 years of construction experience. In this role, you’ll work directly with our VP of Civil Construction, a leader with over 30 years in the industry who is passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing talent. You'll typically manage 1–2 bids at a time, aiming to submit one bid per week across a diverse range of project types.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects
• Perform quantity take-offs and scope reviews
• Interface with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing
• Collaborate with internal teams on bid strategy and execution
• Continuously learn from leadership and bring curiosity and initiative to your work
• Help develop and refine estimating systems and processes

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of experience in construction, preferably in a civil or estimating capacity
• Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Eager to ask questions and work collaboratively
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with heavy civil scopes: earthwork, site utilities, grading, paving, etc.
• Experience with estimating tools such as HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar (preferred)
