Job Description
One of our top land development clients is looking to hire a Civil Engineer local to San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will know AutoCAD and know how to design. This position entails Project Management for the preparation of Tentative Maps and Site Plans, exhibits, and Concept Land Plans from a desk using AutoCAD. The Planning Department is somewhat of a hybrid between Planning and Civil Engineering, and our plans are on the technical side.

Required Skills and Experience
- 5 years of Civil CAD Design experience
- Civil plan preparation in CAD, either planning or engineering.
- Experience in the preparation of Tentative Maps and Site Plans, exhibits, and Concept Land Plans
- Understand grading, site plan, utility design, and the different processes that projects go through for entitlements
- Experience with designing Site Plans
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Can come from a Landscape Architecture background, doing site plans
– build on top of base maps
- Land development experience - supporting residential or commercial land development projects
- Experience in AutoCAD doing Grading, Utility Plans, Hydraulics, hydrology
Pay: $36hr - $42hr + OT pay (45 hour weeks)
