Civil Engineer - Land Development You are a P.E. licensed Civil Engineer with 15+ years of hands-on experience in land development and/or site/civil/heavy construction project management. You want to use your training, education, and experience in an engaging and meaningful way. Description: We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with broad expertise in land development and/or site/civil/heavy construction project management to perform investigations and analyses, prepare reports, and provide expert testimony where technical knowledge, skill, experience, training and/or education are needed to help resolve civil litigation and insurance claims. The ideal candidate will have extensive construction management experience, plus some design experience, in land development, including a thorough working knowledge of contracts, safety, construction means & methods, scheduling, estimating, subcontractor management, and quality control. Experience in community development or residential land development is preferred. Experience in commercial land development, commercial construction, single-family home construction, commercial recreational construction, and/or heavy construction is a plus. Requirements: You have a P.E. license. You have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. You have 15+ years of hands-on experience in land development and/or site/civil/heavy construction project management. You have experience with safety requirements and issues on construction sites. You can safely climb/navigate ladders, roofs, scaffolding, etc. for inspection activities. You can work both independently and collaboratively within a team. You have excellent technical, analytical, writing and communication skills. You are willing to travel about 20% on average.
