We are hiring a Civil Engineer to join a growing Roads and Highways group. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of transportation infrastructure projects, including roadway expansions, highway improvements, intersection reconstructions, and corridors.

The Civil Engineer will play a key role in the planning and execution of municipal and transportation projects. You’ll collaborate with project managers, fellow engineers, and civil engineering technicians to bring innovative infrastructure solutions to life.

What the Civil Engineer Will Do:

• Lead design efforts for public and private municipal and transportation projects
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and public agencies to ensure project success
• Prepare reports, documentation, and project deliverables
• Uphold quality standards and best practices through our QA/QC processes
• Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 3+ years of professional design experience in roadway and/or municipal projects
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Minnesota or on track to become a PE soon
• Experience with MicroStation ORD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or GEOPAK
• Familiarity with MnDOT, counties, and municipalities in Minnesota is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Why This Job?

Compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 depending on your experience level. You will have the opportunity to become an owner in the firm and participate in profit sharing. The role offers the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, while still having a dedicated workstation available at the office whenever you choose to come in.
