As a Civil Engineer - CAD IT Developer/Writer, you will be responsible for both developing and implementing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software solutions and producing technical content related to civil engineering. The role is a blend of 70% technical development and 30% content writing. You will focus on creating innovative solutions while providing high-quality, non-plagiarized content for projects and clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Roles And Responsibilities
CAD Development: Design and implement CAD software or solutions that cater to civil engineering needs, such as structural designs, drafting, and model analysis, with a focus on Revit and other related tools.
Content Creation: Write technical articles, manuals, guides, and other content related to CAD, Revit, civil engineering principles, and construction technologies.
Research: Conduct thorough research to understand engineering topics, software functionalities, and emerging trends in civil engineering.
Technical Documentation: Write clear and detailed documentation, including user guides and manuals for CAD and Revit software.
Quality Control: Review and refine all written content for technical accuracy, coherence, and grammar.
Feedback Implementation: Revise content based on client and team feedback to ensure high-quality, accurate materials.
Plagiarism-Free Content: Ensure all written content is original, well-researched, and non-plagiarism.
Required Skills
CAD & Revit Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and other CAD software, with the ability to develop custom solutions and implement best practices in drafting, modeling, and design processes.
Civil Engineering Expertise: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural design, construction methods, and material science.
Revit Modeling: Experience with Revit BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes, including the creation of parametric models, family creation, and integration of design data.
Technical Content Writing: Ability to produce clear, concise, and technically accurate content on civil engineering topics, focusing on Revit and CAD software.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and solve technical challenges in CAD and Revit development or content creation.
Attention to Detail: Excellent proofreading and editing skills to ensure content clarity and accuracy.
Understanding of Plagiarism Policies: Ensure all content is original, well-researched, and plagiarism-free.
Working days: Monday to Saturday
Work Timings
Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM (WFO)
Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM (WFH)
