Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cisco Storage Engineer who will support a government contract in Denver, CO. Responsibilities for the Cisco Storage Engineer: * Design, implement, manage, and optimize Dell server and storage system, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and performance, while also troubleshooting issues and collaborating with others * Plans, install, configure, and tune SAN and storage hardware/software solutions * Manages storage protocols like iSCSI, NFS, and Fiber Channel * Work with various storage architectures like SAN, NAS, and object storage * Assess current capacity, predicts future needs, and plans for upgrades or changes * Monitor analyzes, and optimizes storage performance to meet business requirements * Ensure data integrity through mechanisms like RAID and storage replication * Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies * Implement security measures to protect stored data and system Qualifications for the Cisco Storage Engineer: * 4+ years of experience * Extensive Networking Skills for Cisco Switches * Experience connecting Cisco ToR to Unity/Hitachi arrays * TS/SCI clearance required Compensation for the Cisco Storage Engineer: * $140,000 - $150,000 *Depending on Experience. * Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
