Summary

**CTG is seeking to fill a Circuit Layout Design Specialist Generalist opening for our client in Rochester, MN.** **Location:** Rochester, MN **Duration:** 12 months **Duties:** + Create, modify, and optimize layouts for analog integrated circuits, ensuring the proper arrangement of components and routing of electrical connections. + Perform design rule checks (DRC and LVS) to ensure compliance with fabrication specifications and industry standards. + Collaborate with circuit design engineers to understand circuit functionality and requirements, incorporating feedback into layout designs. + Generate clear, detailed layout documentation to support design verification and manufacturing. + Use layout and graphic editing tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso) for physical design and verification. + Support testing and debugging efforts by identifying layout-related issues and implementing corrections. + Apply basic analog circuit design principles and layout techniques to optimize performance and reduce mismatch. **Skills:** + Strong proficiency in circuit layout design and use of checking tools. + Significant job experience with graphic editor tools and custom circuit layout design. + Knowledge of circuit schematics and analog circuit design principles. + Familiarity with layout techniques for performance optimization and mismatch reduction. + Experience with industry-standard layout and simulation tools. + Attention to detail and accuracy in layout execution. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. **Experience:** + 2+ years of significant job experience in circuit layout design, layout verification, and use of related tools. + Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of circuit schematics and analog layout techniques. **Education:** + Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or industry-related certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
