Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chinese Translator and Interpreter located in Nijgadh. The translator and interpreter will be responsible for translating written documents and interpreting spoken language from Chinese to English and vice versa. Day-to-day tasks include attending meetings, translating documents, interpreting conversations, and ensuring proper communication between Chinese and Nepali-speaking parties. The role may also involve occasional travel for meetings or site visits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages
• Strong translation and interpretation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in translation
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with engineering and construction terminology is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation, Languages, or related field
• Experience in a similar role is preferred
