Job descriptionMcRory Pediatric Services provides quality, evidence-based therapy services in a nurturing and supportive environment as needed to help our clients reach their fullest potential.Child Development specialists may work in our clinic setting in our Jump Start early intervention program for children with global delays and provide services in home. Services are provided in our clinic as well as within client homes and/or the community.Job Duties: Work 1:1 with a child by targeting all areas of development Monitor the overall effectiveness of treatment Develop and measure treatment goals in collaboration with other professionals, Collect and record daily data accurately and efficiently in accordance to the treatment goals. Conduct assessments as appropriate utilizing DAY-C and Bayley III and write intake, progress and discharge reports for assigned clients. Provide parent education and training. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years related work experience (preferably in Psychology or Child Development). Previous early intervention experience with children with special needs Basic computer skills Must have a reliable car, proof of auto insurance and a valid driver's license Proof of immunization records and TB required. Multilingual is a plus Desirable candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well as part of a team, strong written and verbal communication skills.
