We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Architect to drive the technology vision and architecture function of our 600-person strong software vendor, including a dedicated engineering team of ~200 people. As The European Choice in Service Management, we help our customers to digitalize and automate their work. We are evolving our SaaS offering towards modern, AI-native and cost-effective cloud architecture based on a state-of-the-art Tech Stack.
The Chief Architect will play a crucial role in leading that transformation, including transforming the architecture function following a merger and a shift in strategy. As we transition to cloud architecture following our 'cloud your way' strategy, the Chief Architect will play a crucial role in designing solutions that leverage PaaS but at the same time provide deployment flexibility. The design needs to include the creation of abstraction layers that shield applications from cloud-specific dependencies, optimizing portability and reliability by establishing clear boundaries between standardized components and customizable elements. A key objective is to develop and execute an architectural approach that allows for accelerating innovation in the current generation of products while at the same time evolving them towards a future architecture.
