Chief Financial Officer – SaaS

East Coast | Mid-Sized Software Company | Subscription Billing Model

About the Role:

As Chief Financial Officer, you’ll report directly to the CEO and lead a 30+ person finance team, overseeing pricing strategy, financial planning, accounting, legal, facilities, and enterprise program management. This is a key leadership position on the Core Leadership Team, driving financial strategy, disciplined expense management, and company-wide business performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven CFO experience in a mid-sized SaaS company (500-1500 employees)
• Expertise in subscription-based pricing models
• Strong board presentation & stakeholder management skills
• 15+ years of experience in financial strategy, planning, and operations
• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting (MBA preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic financial leadership, including forecasting, financial modeling, and scenario planning
• Oversee subscription billing operations and financial/accounting policies
• Present financial insights and strategic updates to the Board of Directors
• Lead audit activities, payroll, contract maintenance, and facilities management
• Partner with the VP of Legal on compliance, data privacy, and intellectual property protection
• Manage the enterprise PMO, ensuring high-impact projects are executed effectively
